CWDM is a technology that allows for multiple channels, of mixed protocols and data rates, to be COMBINED and transmitted over fiber optic cable.
Where previously additional fiber needed to be run, now existing strands can be more fully utilized, reducing fiber plant expenditures as bandwidth needs increase. Fiberstore’s CWDM SFP transceivers provide scalable intra- and inter-campus connections over fiber links.
